Week 2: Jan. 11-17
Week
2: Jan. 11-17
Treat Life as an Experiment:
Start big things as an experiment and then go from there. Think of a big puzzle, start from the outside, then do colors, and then you have done the whole thing.
Randy Pausch's Last Lecture - Totally amazing and worth watching several times.
He walked through his hopes and dreams and how he accomplished them and how we can do the same. I like that he changed some of his dreams to make them possible. He wanted to “be” William Shatner, but later changed it to meet him instead. He went to “space” and got to feel weightlessness. He worked for Disney and did all sorts of things.
What
have you done and what do you want to do?
Stars and Steppingstones:
Start
at the end of the maze and then work your way back to the beginning. Your “star”
is the end goal, but knowing the goal helps you navigate in the present.
